RFP#4366 FCA Support Software RFP 2024

Request For Proposal Released to Vendors.

A notification of issuance and a copy of this RFP will be sent to known Vendors. A notification of issuance of this RFP will be advertised in the Akron Beacon Journal. A copy will be posted on the SCCS website located at www.summitkids.org under the Bidding Opportunitied Tab located under Contact Us.

Registration of Interest

In order to ensure receipt of answers to questions submitted by other Vendors. Vendors are asked to register interest in submitting a Proposal. Registrations of Interest are due via e-mail to Tracy Foley, at [email protected] on or before March 19, 2024 at 12:00PM EST. Registrations of Interest are optional and non-binding. Submitting a Registration of Interest does not obligate the Vendor to submit a Proposal. However, only Vendors who have submitted registrations of interest will receive copies of questions.

Question Submission Deadline

Questions relating to this RFP must be received by SCCS no later than 12:00PM EST on March 19 2024. SCCS will not respond to questions received after this deadline. Questions received from vendors and SCCS’s Responses will be sent via e-mail to all Vendors who have submitted a Registration of Interest.

Proposals will be RECEIVED by SCCS on an no later than 12:00 PM on April 2, 2024. Two (2) hard copies and a flash drive of the complete and executed Proposals must be submitted by mail or hand delivery to Summit County Children Services, ATTN: Traci Foley, Department Director of Placement Services at 264 S. Arlington, Akron, Ohio 44306. Proposals submitted after the deadline set for receipt will not be considered. Proposals should be labeled: “Response to RFP for Foster Care and Adoption Support Software.”   Proposals may not be submitted via e-mail, fax, or other electronic means.

Proposal Opening 

Proposals will be opened publicly on April 2, 2024 at 12:00PM EST at SCCS, 264 S. Arlington St., Akron, Ohio 44306. The name of each proposing Vendor will be read aloud. No other information about the proposals will be announced at that time.

Time for Interviews, Presentation, Follow-up and/or Clarification, if necessary

The Vendor awarded the contract will be notified of selection upon receipt of authorization by Summit County Children Services Board of Trustees. 

The contract is estimated to commence in May 2024.

Due to the volume of proposals expected, SCCS will open and evaluate proposals as received. 
Vendors awarded a contract will be notified of selection. Vendors not awarded a contract will also be notified.
The contract will commence upon completion of successful negotiation. The contracts will expire 3/31/2026.
