Office of Client Rights

SCCS offers nondiscriminatory programs and services, complying with civil rights laws. They provide interpreters and accommodations for individuals with vision/hearing impairments and Limited English Proficiency. Client Rights services are available for the community, including clients, relatives, and professionals to voice concerns about agency services. If you have concerns about SCCS services or false abuse reports, first contact the assigned caseworker and their supervisor. If unresolved, reach out to the Department Director. For assistance, the Clients Right Officer can help navigate the process. If issues persist, SCCS offers a formal grievance process with procedures and forms available at SCCS or upon request from the Client Rights Officer.
