Medical Care

For initial placement screenings for all children entering agency custody. Note: Newborns coming into care from the hospital setting do not need to be seen at the C.A.R.E Center.

Prescriptions

Presriptions may be filled at any CVS and ACME Pharmacies. They may also be filled at the pharmacy located in the Locust Building at Akron Children’s Hospital. If no medicaid number is on file, the pharmacy may call the Summit County Children Services Child Abuse & Neglect Hotline at (330) 434-KIDS (5437) for payment verification.
