Zy’lan is a 12 year old boy, in the 7th grade, with an infectious smile. He loves to play basketball and play with Legos and wrestling figures. Zy’lan is diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, and receives ongoing speech, OT and PT to allow him to have as much use of his leg and hand/arm as possible. He is very independent and can do all of his basic hygiene for himself, although he requires reminders to get this done. Zy’lan enjoys going to school and does well in the educational setting, overall.
