Jan is a smart, assertive, and independent teen. She enjoys cooking and hopes to be a chef one day. She is described as an excellent cook, often making tasty desserts for the other kids in her foster home. Her specialty is cheesecake. She is motivated to work part-time, but also needs to focus and apply herself in school and work on conflict resolution with her peers.
It is important to Jan to remain connected to her birth family who is out of state. She does well in a home with young children.
