School Supplies

Donate School Supplies

Summit County Children Services wants to ensure children receiving agency services go to school prepared with essential supplies to help them achieve academic success.

To prepare children for school, we need your help with financial contributions or donations of school supplies.

Please consider making a financial contribution that will provide a backpack filled with school supplies to the following:

  • $30 for an elementary school student
  • $35 for a middle school student
  • $40 for a high school student (includes a scientific calculator)

Monetary donations can be made online through PayPal (use the "Donate Now" button). Individuals can also mail a donation to the agency:

Summit County Children Services
ATTN: Community Relations
264 S. Arlington Street
Akron, Ohio 44306

Checks can be made payable to Summit County Children Services.

For those who prefer to shop for school supplies and donate items, please view our requested school supplies list. Donations of school supplies can be delivered to the agency:

July 23 - August 4, 2018
9 a.m.-7 p.m.
Summit County Children Services
264 S. Arlington Street, Akron

The volunteer activity of packing school supplies into backpacks IS FULL.

With your help, we can make returning to school easier for each child we serve by providing the essentials they need to succeed in the classroom. We appreciate your interest and generous support.
