Beds for Kids Program
When Summit County Children Services social workers enter homes to investigate allegations of child abuse and neglect, they frequently find children without a bed … or babies without a crib.
As a public, levy-funded agency, Summit County Children Services is limited in its ability to use those tax dollars for certain expenses, such as the purchase of beds (except in situations of extreme emergency). Our Beds for Kids program funding is largely dependent on funds donated to the agency.
A donation of any amount will be helpful. A new crib or bed can be purchased for about $200. Donations of new twin or crib bedding, sheets, blankets and pillows are also needed.
Please consider donating to Beds for Kids using the “DONATE” button on this page. For more information, please call our Community Relations Department at (330) 379-1994 or contact Sandy DeLuca at firstname.lastname@example.org.
